At Early Journeys in the toddler room, we design the curriculum keeping each child in mind. The activities are crafted by observing the emergent interests of each of our children. One of the most favorite things to do in the toddler room is messy play. We engage in activities involving water, sand, playdough, jelly, foam, and much more!

A wide range of flashcards and books is available throughout the room to stimulate and encourage language development, fostering general awareness of language, text, letters, and numbers. This approach supports the toddlers' cognitive development. Shapes, colors, size sorting, and age-appropriate puzzles are also utilized and promoted.

Social interactions are vital for this age group. We emphasize learning how to interact respectfully. Toddlers' personalities develop along with their natural love for exploring and thinking. Parents will have peace of mind knowing that their child is being cared for in a loving, safe, and stimulating environment.

During this time, your child’s caregiver will work with you to toilet train your child when you decide it is the perfect time. By the time your child is ready to leave the toddler room, they will have acquired a vast amount of information and ideas. We always ensure that there is extra help from caregivers available to support throughout the day!

Breakfast, snacks, and lunch are provided throughout the day by our in-house cook. Rest time/sleep time takes place after lunch. All updates about the child are provided in real time to keep you informed about what your little one has been up to.
